The Saint Agnes Chamber Choir, a group dedicated to singing the masterpieces of the High Renaissance, performed for the first time in 1986. Jenny Geach organized a group of women to join the Schola Cantorum and sing William Byrd's "Mass for Three Voices". Mary LeVoir directed the newly formed group, and the Chamber Choir continued to sing on a regular basis but not on a set schedule. In 1991, Donna May became the director of the Choir and in 1993 the Chamber Choir began to sing the anticipatory Mass of the 1st Sunday of each month during the regular Twin Cities Catholic Chorale season (Oct. - June).
During the 2018-19 Liturgical Season the Chamber Choir will sing a varied schedule including several Sunday 10:00AM Masses, solemnity Feast Days, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. The Mass schedule is listed below. Please see the attached detailed rehearsal schedule (scroll down for the button).
If you are interested in participating in the choir, contact Donna May at firstname.lastname@example.org.
